The Vault Law Firm Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Survey was introduced in 2021. The aim of the survey was to collect data on the actions law firms are taking to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). This includes internal programs and policies and recruiting activities. The survey also addressed parental leave policies and programs available to working parents as well as steps to ensure inclusiveness for transgender and gender-diverse individuals and accessibility for attorneys with disabilities. Additionally, Vault Law collected data on race, gender, sexual orientation, and disability status among U.S.-based lawyers.
